There is no need to apply through UCAS.
Step 1
International students are to complete the online Application form or download the Application form, and ensure that they have read and understood the conditions of enrolment. UK and EU Citizens and Permanent Residents are not eligible to study at ICWS at this time.
Step 2
Attach certified copies of all academic qualifications including school reports and official examination certificates plus English language test results (if appropriate) and relevant employment documents. Please ensure that your current name is added to copies obtained under a former name and that certified translations accompany documents that are not in English.
Copies of documents can be certified by:
- the official records department of the institution that originally issued the documents,
- an authorized ICWS representative
Step 3
Send your application to ICWS or one of our representative offices.
Step 4
If your application is successful, you will be sent a Letter of Offer for ICWS explaining the programmes you have been offered, the fees payable and the programme commencement date.
Step 5
In order to accept the offer of a place, it will be necessary to formally accept the offer, and pay partial programme fees (usually one semester). Payment of the amount due should be made in £ Pounds Sterling to International College Wales Swansea by international bank draft or bank transfer.
We do not accept payments in cash in the ICWS office. If you pay by direct deposit or telegraphic transfer, you must provide ICWS with proof of payment (such as a receipt). Please quote your student number on the telegraphic transfer or direct debit deposit.
Step 6
On receipt of payment, your place at ICWS will be confirmed in writing and you will be issued with the following;
- Receipt of Payment
- Confirmation of Admission
- Conditional Letter of Admission from Swansea University
- Check list and advice on obtaining your student visa
- Pre-Departure Guide – including accommodation and airport pick-up services
