Charlie joined ICWS having worked for the previous 15 months at LIBT at Brunel University as their Marketing and Communications Manager. Whilst at LIBT his Marketing responsibilities were predominantly Kenya, Nigeria, Pakistan and the UAE.  With his communications responsibilities Charlie was responsible for driving and implementing the company brand change to Navitas in the UK during 2007.

After studying at Falmouth University gaining a BA (Hons) in Design, Charlie was the Students Union President of Welfare for FXU (Falmouth and Exeter’s Students Union) at Falmouth University.  It is from this experience that he found his passion for working to help students in further education.

Charlie was born in Wales, about an hours drive from Swansea in a town called Abergavenny.  Since then Charlie has lived in America, England, Germany, Northern Ireland, Pakistan and Wales.

Charlie’s areas of responsibility for ICWS are Africa, Bangladesh, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Pakistan, Russia and Turkey. Charlie says, “I am proud to be apart of ICWS at Swansea University- a world class institution, with such a vibrant cosmopolitan community.
